Measure Angle between two Points
To measure the angle between two points, on the Draw tab, in the Measure group, click Angle.
The user is prompted to Specify base point
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the point to measure from.
The user is then prompted to Specify angle vertex or
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the point to measure to.
The context editor and the message bar display the angle between the two points.
Throughout the angle measuring process the user can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.
Base angle
Press the down arrow key and select Base angle to specify the base angle vertex. Refer to Measure Angle between Two Points using a Base Angle for further information.
Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.
Measure Angle between Two Points using a Base Angle
To measure the angle between two points using a base angle, on the Draw tab, in the Measure group, click Angle.
The user is prompted to Specify base point
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the point to measure from.
The user is then prompted to Specify angle vertex or
Input B at the prompt and press Enter.
The user is then prompted to Specify the base angle vertex
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the base angle vertex.
The user is then prompted to Specify angle vertex
Input values in the dimension fields and press Enter or click to identify the vertex to measure from using the base angle.
The context editor and message bar display the measured angle.
Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.
