Trim Objects



Crossing	Press the down arrow key and select Crossing to select objects using a selection box.
Delete	Press the down arrow key and select Delete to delete an object.
Edge	Press the down arrow key and select Edge to trim objects to extrapolated edges. Refer to Trim Objects to Extrapolated Edges for further information.
Finish	Press the down arrow key and select Finish to end the command.
Undo	Press the down arrow key and select Undo to undo the last action.

To trim objects to extrapolated edges, on the Draw tab, in the Modify group, click Trim, select Trim from the drop-down list.

The user is then prompted to Select entity to trim or <Finish>

Input E at the prompt and press Enter.

The user is then prompted to Enter an implied edge extension mode

Input E at the prompt or Enter.

The user is then prompted to Select entity to trim or <Finish>

Input F at the prompt and press Enter to end the command.

Throughout the trim process the user can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.
