Create and Modify Views : The 3D View : Define Limits

To initially define the limits of a 3D view, on the Format 3D tab, in the Define Limits group, click Limits from Drawlist.

The view limits are derived from the elements in the drawlist and display in the view. For example:

The limits display in the fields in the Define Limits group. For example:

The limits can be adjusted by using the mouse: click the gold-coloured cone in the centre of a limits face and drag it in or out as required:

The limits in the fields are updated accordingly.

The drop-down lists and check boxes next to the fields are used to create Vsecs from the planes of the view limits faces defined in those fields. Refer to Create Vsec View for further information.
