DRAW User Guide

Manage Group
Add Element	Allows the user to add elements to the view. Refer to Add and Remove Model Items to/from the 3D View for further information.
Remove Element	Allows the user to remove selected elements from the view. Refer to Add and Remove Model Items to/from the 3D View for further information.
View Contents	Allows the user to view a list of the view contents. Refer to View Contents for further information.
Navigate Group
Pan	Allows the user to switch the 3D view to pan mode. Refer to Pan, Zoom and Rotate for further information.
Rotate	Allows the user to switch the 3D view to rotate mode. Refer to Pan, Zoom and Rotate for further information.
Zoom	Allows the user to switch the 3D view to zoom mode. Refer to Pan, Zoom and Rotate for further information. Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:
Limits CE	Click to adjust the scale of the view so that it corresponds to the volume of the selected element(s).
Zoom to Selection	Click to zoom into the element selected in the Model Explorer.
Go to Drawlist	Click to zoom to the limits of all the elements in the drawlist.
Centre on Selection	Click to centre the view on the element selected in the Model Explorer.
Parallel	Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:
Parallel	Click to set the view to parallel projection mode.
Perspective	Click to set the view to perspective projection mode.
Model	Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:
Eye	Click to move the 3D model around the user's viewpoint.
Model	Click to move the user's viewpoint around the 3D model.
Scale Group
Type	Allows the user to set the type of scale for the view. Click to display a drop-down list with the following options: • Architectural • Engineering • Metric
Scale	Allows the user to select the scale for the view. Click to display a drop-down list with the available options.
Direction Group
Down	Allows the user to set the view direction. Click to display a drop-down list with the following options: • Down • Up • East • South • North • West • Iso 1 • Iso 2 • Iso 3 • Iso 4
Direction	Displays coordinates to indicate the current view direction. For example, D for down or E for East, W 45 S 35.26 D for ISO 1. The user can input values in the field to specify the view direction. The field can be modified.
Rotation	Displays the current view angle. The field can be modified.
Define Limits Group
East/West, North/South, Up/Down	Allows the user to set the limits of the 3D view. Populate these fields initially by selecting Limits from Drawlist. Then, if required, input dimensional values in the direction fields to define the limits of the view explicitly. The direction can be defined in East, West, North, South, Up and Down directions using the drop-down lists.
Limits from Drawlist	Allows the user to set the limits of the 3D view to a volume that encloses all items in the view drawlist. Click to populate the limits fields.
Clear Limits	Click to clear all 3D limits defined for the view.

Remember Group
Freeze	Click to save the current scale or view direction.
Restore	Click to restore the scale or view direction to when it was last saved.
Display Group
Matchlines	Click to turn the display of matchlines on or off.
Section Planes	Allows the user to create and modify section planes. Refer to Create and Modify Section Planes for further information.
Complete Group
Apply	Click to perform a freeze. The current view transformation is saved and the 3D view closes.
Finish	Click to save limits, if defined, along with any Vsecs created at these limits. The view is resized to the limits. The command also saves changes to the drawlist and applies the transformation that was saved with the last freeze command and closes the 3D view.
Cancel	Click to close the 3D view without saving any changes.
