Create and Modify Views : The 3D View : Pan, Zoom and Rotate
Pan, Zoom and Rotate
To select zoom, pan and rotate modes, on the Format 3D tab, in Navigate group, click either Zoom, Pan or Rotate. Refer to Format 3D Tab for further information.

To zoom into a drawing, roll the mouse wheel up.
•
To zoom out from a drawing, roll the mouse wheel down.
•
To zoom in or out of a drawing while the view is in zoom mode, hold down the mouse wheel and move the cursor up (to zoom in) or down (to zoom out).

To pan, set the view to pan mode, click and hold the mouse wheel and drag the drawing in the required direction.
•
To rotate, set the view to rotate mode, then either hold the mouse wheel and move the cursor in the required direction to rotate the view in that direction, or press the appropriate arrow key on the keyboard.
Other zoom options are available from the Zoom sub-menu on the Format 3D tab.
