This value is overridden by the new MDS ancillary default values declared in the MDS PARAGON module defaults catalogue, i.e. in the DATA members found in a typical MDS ancillary default DTSE element. For example, DTSE /MDS/ATTA/DEFAULTS/AT01/100/FRMW (see Framework Clearance Option, Closed End Clearance, Open End Clearance).

When a designer chooses to build a support using the Clearance option, this value is used to determine the clearance on both sides of the support attachment (see Figure 3:6.: MDSSUPPCL and MDSSUPPOV), For example, if the MDS ancillary default values are not found.
