Dock
To dock a floating window which can be docked drag its title bar to the top, bottom, left or right side of the application window. Alternatively, to return the dockable window to its previous docked position double-click its title bar.
The application allows the user to choose where to put a window by using the mouse to drag it to a new position. The following options are available:

Attached to any side of the main application window.
•
Attached to any side of another window that is already docked.
•
Attached in the same place as another docked window. Tabs are used to switch between the windows.
•
AutoHide support, to maintain an uncluttered screen.
To dock a floating window, or to re-locate a docked window to another side of the application window, select and drag the title bar of the window. As the window is dragged the Docking Tool is displayed.
The Docking Tool indicates the positions where the window can be docked.
While still holding down the left mouse button, as the mouse pointer is moved over one of the allowable positions, a translucent coloured rectangle is drawn to show the eventual position of the window when the mouse button is released.
When moving the mouse pointer over a window that is already docked, the same Docking Tool is displayed to allow docking on any side of that window:

If the mouse button is released while the mouse pointer is over the central part of the Docking Tool, the window is attached to the first window, with the same size and position. Each window that is attached in this way has a tab located at the bottom of the combined window, to allow switching between the windows.
An Auto Hide function is available for docked windows.
To save space on the screen, a docked window can be unpinned (hidden), click Auto Hide. The window is replaced by a tab.
When the tab is clicked the window is displayed again.
