Dockable Windows
Certain key windows, for example the Model Explorer window and all menu bars and toolbars are provided with dockable functionality giving the user considerable control over the layout of windows and other aspects of the graphical interface. The layout that a user sets up is saved when the user ends a session and restored when the user begins a new session. As much as possible, layouts are also maintained when switching between modules.
Dockable windows, menu bars can be docked to any edge of the application window or can be set to float at any position on the screen.
