Common Functionality User Guide

View Design : 3D View Window : Control Tiles

The Control Tiles on the left side of the 3D View window provides quick access to the most commonly used view manipulation operations.

To access the required option the user must hover the cursor over the image to expand the options.

Sets the View Limits.

Defines the view limits as the 3D coordinates of two diagonally opposed corners of the limits box. Select Explicit to display the Volume - Design window.

Sets the view limits to include all elements in the current Obstruction List.

Note:

Used for clash checking.

Sets the limits box to have the same defining coordinates as the current clip box.

Zoom to Selection

Zooms in on the current selection or the current element if no selection has been made.

Zoom to Drawlist

Zooms in to the element selected in the Drawlist.

Centre on Selection

Centres the view on the origin point of the current element.

Hides elements or displays more drawlist options.

Show Last Hidden

Displays the element most recently hidden during the current session, provided the element is still in the drawlist.

Show All Hidden

Displays all the hidden elements during the current session, provided the elements are still in the drawlist.

Hidden List Form

Displays the Hidden Objects window to allow the user to select objects to be displayed. The window lists all the elements in the drawlist for the current view that are currently hidden. Refer to Other Drawlist Functions for further information.

Opens the laser model in BubbleView. Refer to Open Bubble for further information.

Pick a point in the laser model and the application will determine the most appropriate BubbleView to open. Refer to Pick a Point for further information.

Finish looking at bubble

Resets the viewport to the location before the user entered the BubbleView. Refer to Finish Looking at Bubble for further information.

Removes the current element.

Removes all elements listed in the Drawlist.
