View Design : 3D View Window
To create a 3D View Window, on the 3D View tab, in the New group, click Empty View.
More than one 3D View window can be displayed at the same time, allowing the user to have different views of the model. On the Home tab, in the Windows group, click Window Layout to display the following menu options:
The views within each window can be controlled individually using the Home and 3D View tab options. The displays details for multiple views can be changed simultaneously. Refer to Model Editor for further information.
A Prompt Bar, across the top of the viewing area, displays the mode the user is in, Navigate mode or Modify (Model Editor), or be used to display instructions on the EDG tasks (for example click on the element to add).
Control Tiles down the left-hand side, which can give one-click control of a variety of view manipulation functions.
An Information Bar below the viewing window, which displays the current view direction and settings of that window, for example: w45n35d Parallel Model Zoom.
Rotation Sliders can also be displayed across the bottom and down the right-hand side of the window, which allow the user to rotate the displayed model, regardless of the mode the window is in. To display the sliders, press F9 or on the 3D View tab, in the Settings group, click Current View to display the View Settings window, in the Utilities pane select Show Borders check box.
The views can be controlled individually using the menu and options on the windows or more than one view can be changed simultaneously from the 3D View Control window. To do so, from the main bar menu select Display > View Control to display the 3D View Control window.
