UNITS
Function:
Specifies units of measurement used for ISODRAFT’s output.
Description:
The units used for length and bore dimensions on isometric drawings can be specified independently from the units used for input data.
By default, lengths along pipelines (for component dimensioning, tube lengths, etc.) are shown in metric units, and pipe bores are shown in imperial units.
The user is also able to specify whether the bore units suffix or prefix the bore sizes on an isometric.
Note:
Input units are specified by the commands BORES and DISTANCES.
Examples:
UNITS METRIC
Outputs metric lengths and metric bores.
UNITS IMPERIAL
Outputs imperial lengths and imperial bores. Measurements between 1’ and 2’ will be output in inches; for example, 15”.
UNITS IMPERIAL FT
Outputs imperial lengths and imperial bores. Measurements between 1’ and 2’ will be output in feet and inches; for example, 1’3”.
UNITS IMPERIAL BOMDEC
Outputs imperial lengths and imperial bores. Measurements between 1’ and 2’ will be output in inches; for example, 15”. (Pipe quantities on Bill of Material in decimal feet; for example, 2.7’).
UNITS IMPERIAL FT BOMDEC
Outputs imperial lengths and imperial bores. Measurements between 1’ and 2’ will be output in feet and inches; for example; 1’3”. (Pipe quantities on Bill of Material in decimal feet; for example, 2.7’).
UNITS METIMP
Outputs metric lengths and imperial bores.
UNITS METRIC PREFIXBOREUNITS
Outputs metric lengths and metric bores with bore sizes prefixed by the bore units as defined by ATEXT 207. The following options will provide standard DN output (for example DN80):
UNITS METRIC PREFIXBOREUNITS
ATEXT 207 'DN'
