You can modify a label graphically by making it the current element and giving the command

The Annotation Modification window displays, and the selected Label is highlighted with pickable hot spots. These enable the APOF, BPOF, CPOF, XYPS, and ADEG attributes of the Label to be modified interactively.

Note:

For this functionality to be available the Annotation Modification window must be loaded. The window contains the point construction Option list button that allows positions to be defined in terms of end-points and intersection points.

To modify the Label, click the hot spot that you wish to move, and click to identify the new position. A transient image of the Label displays, which moves as the mouse is moved. You can then do one of:

Click OK on the Annotation Modification window, to accept the changes you have made.

Cancel allows the command to be aborted with no change to the Label.

Reset causes the position of the current hot-spot to be reset to its database position; Delete causes the current hot-spot to be deleted or set to a default position:

•

A bend point is deleted

•

The attachment point is set to the p-point (for example, APOF 0 0)

•

The connection point is set to its default value (for example, CPOF STANDARD)

•

The angle of the label is set to 0.

•

The Label position is not affected.
