Destination Group hierarchy
Items can be copied and pasted with the same group hierarchy. Basically, when copying equipment that is located in DB like on
Figure 4:44.: Sample database structure
. Next paste it, then the result can look like on

(“Use existing groups” has to be disabled). Alternatively, new elements can be defined according to diagrams settings.

Possible values are:
•
Same as source groups – the system will try to create the same group hierarchy structure that the copied items had when they were copied
•
Use session defaults– items are created under groups as defined by the session defaults.
•
Ask – the system will ask if items should be created according to settings or if it should create the group hierarchy from the source.
Note:
The groups are created, not copied from the source data. If the system is not able to create the copied items in the DB, then the empty groups will not be created either.
