Most AVEVA products make use of a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to drive the software. The interfaces provided with the AVEVA software are designed to apply to a wide range of situations and business needs. However, as the user becomes more experienced with AVEVA products they may want to design an interface that is more closely related to their requirements.

PML 2 has been specifically designed for writing and customising the Forms and Menus for AVEVA products. Almost all the facilities available in PML 1 and the older Forms and Menus facilities continue to function as before even if they are not documented here.
