Basic Operations : Undo and Redo Changes

Note:

To undo changes, On the Home tab, in the Tools group, click Undo to display a drop-down list.


Undo	Select from the drop-down list to undo the last change. The user can continue to undo previous modifications, each time Undo is clicked the previous change is rolled back.
Undo multiple	Select from the drop-down list to undo a specified number of changes or a group of changes. The user is prompted to Enter the number of actions to undo or <1> Input the number of actions to undo at the prompt, then press Enter. Throughout the undo process the user can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.
	Begin	Press the down arrow key and select Begin to create a group of actions. Refer Create a Group of Actions for further information.
	All	Press the down arrow key and select All to undo all changes since the last save.
Undo all	Select from the drop-down list to undo all changes since the last save.

To redo changes, On the Home tab, in the Tools group, click Redo to display a drop-down list.


Redo	Select from the drop-down list to redo the last undone change. The user can continue to redo undone modifications, each time Redo is clicked the next undo is reinserted.
Redo multiple	Select from the drop-down list to redo a specified number of changes or a groups of changes. The user is prompted to Enter the number of actions to redo or <Last> Input the number of actions to undo at the prompt, then press Enter. Throughout the redo process the user can press ESC to cancel the command. Additional functionality is also available.
	All	Press the down arrow key and select All to redo all undone changes since the last save.
	Last	Press the down arrow key and select Last to redo the last undone change.
Redo all	Select from the drop-down list to redo all undone changes since the last save.

To create a group of actions, on the Home tab, in the Tools group, click Undo, select Undo multiple.

The user is prompted to Enter the number of actions to undo or <1>

Input B and press Enter to start the group action creation.

The user is then prompted to Enter the number of actions to undo or <1>

Input E and press Enter to end the group action creation.
