DRAW User Guide


Windows Group
Command Window	Click to display the Command Window. Refer to Command Window for further information.
Message Log	Click to display the Messages window, which displays a list of messages issued by the application during the session. Refer to Messages for further information.
Appware Load Errors	Click to display the Default Load Errors window. Refer to Appware Load Errors for further information.
Explorers Group
Department	Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:
Create	Allows the user to create a new department. Refer to Create Departments, Registries and Drawings with the Tools Tab for further information.
Modify	Allows the user to modify the attributes of a department. Refer to Create Departments, Registries and Drawings with the Tools Tab for further information.
Registry	Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:
Create	Allows the user to create a new registry. Refer to Create Departments, Registries and Drawings with the Tools Tab for further information.
Modify	Allows the user to modify the attributes of a registry. Refer to Create Departments, Registries and Drawings with the Tools Tab for further information.
Drawing	Click to display a drop-down list with the following options:
Create Explicitly	Allows the user to create a new drawing. Refer to Create Departments, Registries and Drawings with the Tools Tab for further information.

Draw Explorer	Allows the user to open and close the Draw, Model and Fabrication Explorers. Refer to Explorers for further information.

Explorer Options	Allows the user to configure the behaviour of Explorers. Refer to Explorer for further information.
Search Group
Search	Allows the user to open and close the Search and Search Result windows. Refer to Search for further information.

Excel	Allows the user to add Excel tables to a drawing. Refer to Add Excel Tables for further information.
CAD Drawing	Allows the user to import a CAD drawing as a new drawing sheet. Refer to Create Sheet from Imported CAD Drawing for further information.
Reports Group
Simple	Allows the user to create a report with basic formatting. Refer to Run Quick Reports for further information.
Designer	Allows the user to open the Report Designer, in which more complex user-defined reports and report templates can be created. Refer to Report Designer for further information.
Run Report	Allows the user to run pre-defined reports supplied with the product or created by users in Report Designer. Refer to Run Pre-Defined Reports for further information.

Defaults Group
3D Representation	Allows the user to change the 3D graphic settings. Refer to 3D Representation for further information.
Current 3D View	Allows the user to change view settings for the current 3D view. Refer to View Settings for further information.
User Defaults	Allows the user to set user-specific default settings. Refer to Modify User Defaults for further information.
Unit Settings	Allows the user to set the units for the current session. Refer to Unit Settings for further information.
Show Tooltips	Click to toggle the tooltips ON/OFF.
