Add Annotation : Automatic Tagging
To apply automatic tagging, on the Annotate tab, in the Annotate group, click Auto-Tag
The Automatic Tagging window allows the user to specify the conditions for automatically generating labels for one or more views in a sheet.
Select Piping from the drop-down list to define piping as the type of item required for tagging.
Select Equipment from the drop-down list to define equipment as type of item required for tagging.
Select Structural from the drop-down list to define structural as the type of item required for tagging.
The Confirm window informs the user that all current tags in the layer will be lost.
Click Yes to confirm the settings or No to discard any changes. The user is returned to the Automatic Tagging window.
Click OK. The user is returned to the Automatic Tagging window.
Select Library from the drop-down list to define a library template type.
Select Local from the drop-down list to define a local template type.
If Library is selected from the Template Type drop-down list:
Select From CE from the drop-down list to utilise the selected template.
If Local is selected from the Template Type drop-down list:
Select Text Settings from the drop-down list to define the label text attributes. Refer to Label Text Attributes for further information.
Select Text Contents from the drop-down list to modify the label text. Refer to Modify Label Text for further information.
Select Frame from the drop-down list to define the label frame attributes. Refer to Label Frame Attributes for further information.
Select Leader Line from the drop-down list to modify the label leader line. Refer to Tagging Template Leader Line Line for further information.
Click Update to generate the tags.
