Setting Clash Status
The Clash Status update form can be accessed from the Model Management Menu.
The Clash Status Control… option will only appear if Status Control is available.
This will bring up the following form.
The user can then choose to populate the form from the CE, or a list of database elements, or the entire MDB. The entire MDB should be used with caution, as it could take some time to collect all the available objects that can have clash status set against them. Refer to
Batch
.
The form will then be populated with the all writable object names, types and clash statuses extracted from the Clash Manager tables.
Note:
The GTYPS that are collected are based on the ELEL of the status definition /Clash Status.
The Update Status button then sets the status against their equivalent objects in the databases.
A log file called clashStatus.log is produce in the AVEVA_DESIGN_USER directory to record any warnings or errors that may occur. This file will be overwritten with each update.
The results can be viewed in the standard status control grid, refer to the
Status Control
manual for more details.
