To use the MDS application, select the Supports tab. The system tests for the existence of the design template database /MDS/TEMPLATES and the /MDS and /MDF specifications. If neither of these exists, MDS entry is stopped, an error message is displayed, and the user re-enters the General Application. If this occurs, ask the administrator to add the owning databases to the MDB (Multiple Database).

Simultaneously, the application overlays a window listing all valid zones found in the current MDB. The administrator controls the selection of which zones are displayed. For more information on how these zones are selected, refer to MDS Admin Data Form for further information.

Select a zone in which to create the support structures and click OK.
