Project Upgrade for MDS Defaults : Starting the Utility

From the MDS12 PARAGON module main menu, select Utilities:

Select MDS12 - Upgrade to PARAGON Defaults… from the pull-down menu. The MDS12 Defaults Conversion Upgrade utility form will be displayed as shown in Figure 2:2.: MDS12 Defaults Conversion Upgrade Form.

The MDS12 Defaults Conversion and Upgrade form displayed above, shows that all six of the MDS12 default files have been successfully located somewhere in the search path of MDS12 default directories, defined in the project TWD evar %TWDDFLTS%.
Note:
All six of the MDS12 default files have been located, therefore the OK button will be activated, allowing the MDS administrator to continue with MDS12 Defaults Conversion Upgrade.
Click the OK button to continue with the MDS12 Default Files Conversion and Upgrade or click the Cancel button to abort.

However, if any of the six of the MDS12 default files have NOT been successfully located they will be displayed on then form as de-activated, i.e. "greyed out", and suitable text will be shown on the form advising the MDS administrator the process is unable to continue, e.g.
Example: 
The Project "DIMENSION" MDS Defaults File "DES-SUPP-PARS" is NOT available. *** UNABLE *** to PROCEED with the loading of the MDS12.0 Application Defaults.
Therefore the OK button will be de-activated, and thus NOT allow the MDS administrator to continue with MDS12 Defaults Conversion Upgrade. Refer to Figure 2:3.: MDS12 Defaults Conversion Upgrade Form.

After clicking the OK button a Confirm form will be displayed, as shown below, asking if you wish to CONTINUE with this upgrade.
Click Yes to CONTINUE and run the MDS12 Upgrade or Click No to abort.

After clicking the Yes button on the Confirm form, the MDS12 Defaults Files Conversion Upgrade will commence and no further user interaction with the user is required.
Clicking the No button will abort the upgrade procedure.
