Multi-Discipline Supports Administrator Guide

Reports Defaults MDS-REPORT-DEFS and MDS-REPORT-HEADINGS
The two default files MDS-REPORT-DEFS and MDS-REPORT-HEADINGS work in conjunction with each other and Heading numbers must align in both files.
MDS-REPORT-DEFS contains the pre-defined MDS Reports available for the project. The contents of this file are shown as the output file and description on the MDS Reports Menu form accessed from Utilities>MDS Reports. The default file contains the details of each column in each of the pre-defined reports. The administrator can add to, or edit, the default file to create reports for any project or client specific requirements.
The MDS-REPORT-HEADINGS file contains the definition of a list of Alternative Report Headings that are applicable to the Reports generated by selecting Utilities>MDS Reports from the main menu. The contents of MDS-REPORT-HEADINGS manifest themselves on the MDS Report Headings form. This is accessed by selecting Report>User Defined from the menu on the MDS Reports Menu form. The administrator can add to, or edit, the default file to create reports for any project or client specific requirements.
