If a Database View is selected from the Views pane in the Database Views Editor, the View Detail Pane is displayed. The Database View can be modified with the following limitations:

Supports modification of the primary attributes of a Database View to define the display name and the elements that the Database View rows are based on.

The columns displayed to the user for each Data Source, these can be attribute values or expressions evaluated on the selected Data Source.

A grid showing column data defined by the Database View. The grid only shows data that the current user has access to. By default data access is restricted in LEXICON so this will appear as an empty grid for most element types.
