Dockable Windows
Certain key windows, are provided with dockable functionality, which gives the user considerable control over the layout of windows and other aspects of the graphical interface. The layout that the user sets up is saved when the user ends a design session and restored when the user begins a new session. As much as possible, layouts are also maintained when switching between modules.
Windows may be docked to any edge of the application window or can be set to 'float' at any position on the screen.
