Guide Structure
The DRAW Administrator Guide is divided into the following sections:
Overview
explains some principles which the administrator needs to understand before trying to use the DRAW administrator functions.
Defaults
explains how to control the default settings which affect the way DRAW functionality appears to other users.
Notes
describes a special item on the Graphics menu which allows the administrator to update parts of the Database explicitly, to correct inconsistencies which may arise due to operations in other modules such as reconfiguration.
Create Library
explains how to create a Library (LIBY).
Sheet Library
explains how to create a Sheet Library (SHLB), giving users access to standard backing sheets and/or overlay sheets.
Symbol Library
explains how to create a Symbol Library (SYLB), from which users can choose 2D symbols to add to their drawings.
2D Symbolic Representation Administration
explains how to set up 2D symbolic representation.
ISODRAFT Symbols
explains how to create an ISODRAFT Symbol Library (ISOLB), where the administrator can create symbols for use in ISODRAFT.
Label Library
explains how to create a Label Library (LALB), from which users can choose symbolic and general labels.
Style Library
explains how to create a Style Library (RPLB) within the Representation Library, which controls the appearance of various aspects of the drawing (such as which parts of the 3D model are drawn, and which pens are used for which types of line).
Representation
explains how to create Representation Library (RPLB) and Representation Rule Sets (RRST) within the Representation Library, which reference particular Styles. These can be used to link drawing styles to specific types of element within the Database if required.
Hatching
explains how to create a Hatching Library within the Representation Library.
Drawlist
explains how to create a Drawlist Library (DLLB), which holds ID lists to control which elements are drawn.
Visual Styles
explains how to create visual styles for the labels, text, dimensions and view frames that are added to a drawing.
Tag Rule
explains how to create a Tag Rule Library (TRLB) and Tag Rules to set up the rules for automatic tagging of items in drawings.
Circulation List
describes the elements required for the storage of Circulation Lists.
Automatic Drawing Production
explains how to set up defaults for Automatic Drawing Production.
Area Based Automatic Drawing Production
explains how to set up defaults for Area Based Automatic Drawing Production.
Isometric Automatic Drawing Production
explains how to set up defaults for Isometric Automatic Drawing Production.

Query
displays, in a quick-reference format, the administration parts of the DRAW menu hierarchy.
Database Hierarchy
displays the part of the DRAW (PADD) database hierarchy which is most relevant to the DRAW administrator, namely the LIBY and its members.
Libraries
displays the Library Hierarchy supplied with DRAW.
