NEW (Project definition and Global Project Administration)
Function:
Create an ADMIN element.
Description:
This command is used:
•
In any Project, to create Roles, Scopes, Teams, DB Sets and MDBs and other elements. In a Global Project, Roles and STAMPS can only be created at the Hub. Roles, PEROPs , STAMPS and Teams must be created in the global database.
•
At the Hub of a Global project, to create the Global elements of Locations, Location Groups and Communication Events (LCOMDs).
Examples (any Project):
NEW ROLE /SnrPiper
Creates a new Role named SnrPiper.
NEW PEROP /MaxBore
Creates a new Permissible Operation named MaxBore. The current element must be a Role.
NEW SCOPE /AREA-A
Creates a new Scope named Area-A.
NEW DBSET /ASET-A
Creates a new DB Set named ASET-A
NEW ACR /ACR-A
Creates a new ACR named ACR-A
NEW ACRST /ACRSET
Creates a new DB Set named ACRSET
Note:
After creating the above elements, you will need to set their attributes.
NEW TTFONT TTFIND5 TTFACE ‘ARIAL’ TTFDES ‘ARIAL’
Creates a new TTFONT element for the font ‘Arial’ at index 5
NEW TTFONT TTFIND6 TTFACE ‘TIMES NEW ROMAN’ TTFDES ‘TIMES’
Creates a new TTFONT element, with description abbreviated to ‘TIMES’, at index 6.

NEW LOCATION /CAMBRIDGE
Creates a new location named CAMBRIDGE.
NEW GRP /AUSTRALIA
Creates a Location Group named AUSTRALIA.
NEW LCOMD /NORMAL
Creates a Communications Event named NORMAL.
NEW LCTIMD /EVENTS/NORMAL
Creates an Events timing element named EVENTS/NORMAL.
