The transfer operation is essentially an extension of the procedure for copying data between projects, described in Transferring Data Between Projects. RECONFIGURER makes provision for translating the coding of the intermediate files to make sure compatibility between the language requirements of different computers.

An alternative method of transferring data between different computers is to use the OUTPUT command in MODEL, DRAFT, PARAGON or LEXICON. For details of other data transfer methods, see the MODEL Reference Manual Part 1 (OUTPUT command).
