Reconfiguration : Listing the Reference Number Index

When a DB is reconfigured without the SAMEREF option, the reference numbers of the elements in the destination DB will be different from the corresponding reference numbers in the source DB.

An index of the reference numbers of elements in the new DB against those in the old DB is automatically created as an essential part of the reconfiguration process. The new reference corresponding to an old reference can be queried using the command:

Q NEWREF refno

where refno is the new reference number. The old reference number will be returned. For example:

Q NEWREF #32/202  =42/205
