Automatic Hierarchy Defaults
Automatic Hierarchy Defaults
Assigns default properties to automatically created hierarchy elements.
If a storage area (SITE, ZONE, STRU, FRMW or SBFR) is not selected when a structural element is created (for example, a straight section), hierarchy elements are created, by default.
The setup of default properties for automatically created hierarchy elements is an administration task, access is only available to users with administration rights (member of the STRUADMIN team).
The administrator can create an Application Data World (APPLDW) element and define the default properties for automatically created ZONE and STRU elements.
An APPLDW element is created and displays in the Model Explorer.
Application Data World (APPLDW)
An APPLDW element is created below the Model World element. The APPLDW element is an administrative element and can own an Application Data Area APPDAR element.
Application Data Area (APPLDAR)
An APPDAR element is created below the APPLDW element. The APPDAR element is an administrative element and can own an Application Data (APPDA) element.
Application Data (APPLDA)
An APPDA element is created below the APPDAR element. The APPDA element is an administrative element and can own a ZONE element.
