Isometric Automatic Drawing Production : Isometric Drawings Production : Model Elements Search

Searches for Model element drawings using a selected element in the Model Explorer as the CE under which to search. The default is world (*).

Alternatively, you can input an element name in the Model element to search under: field.

to move up one level in the Model Explorer hierarchy.

Click

to refresh the search results when the search criteria is changed if the Track current element check box is not selected. If required, select the Track current element check box to track element selection in the Model Explorer, refer to Track Current Element for further information.

Any HVAC or CWAY design elements can be searched for, even of a drawing has not been produced before, the result displays in the Search Results table.

The Search for: drop-down menu allows you to define the element type to search. You can search for CWAY or HVAC design elements.

The Filter the results for: drop-down list allows you to filter the search results.


Those not drawn	Select from the drop-down list to search for all elements that have yet to be drawn, this is the default.
Those drawn	Select from the drop-down list to search for all elements that have associated drawings.
Those drawn by me	Select from the drop-down list to search for elements that have associated drawings processed by you.
Bad Drawing Reference	Select from the drop-down list to search for elements that have bad reference links to drawings.
All	Select from the drop-down list to search for all elements without being filtered.

Click Search to update the Search Results table. Refer to Search Results Table for further information.

Advanced Search

Sets the options for an advanced search of HVAC or CWAY elements.

The functionality of the Advanced Search for Ducting or Advanced search for Cable Tray windows is identical.

The Scope part of the Advanced Search for Ducting and Advanced search for Cable Tray windows allows you to define the scope of the search.


Search the whole Mdb	Select the option button to search across the whole Mdb
Search below the Current Element	Select the option button to search below the CE.

The Find elements that have part of the Advanced Search for Ducting or Advanced search for Cable Tray windows allows you to define advanced search criteria.


Expression	By default, the expression matches the application default. Elements are searched with attributes that satisfy the expression.
Name with all of these words	Input a value in the field to search for all elements that match the name value.
Attribute/that matches	Select from the Attribute drop-down list to search for attributes with a value that matches the input value in the that matches field.
System	Select the option button to filter the search for elements with system attributes.
Udas	Select the option button to filter the search for elements with user defined attributes.

Click Search to update the Search Results table. Refer to Search Results Table for further information.

If no elements are found, a message window displays.
