Recovering Primary Databases
You can recover primary databases, but because the primary database is the most up-to-date version of that database in the project, there is inevitably going to be some work loss. Therefore, recovery from back-ups is recommended for primary databases.
To minimise work loss:
•
Restore from backup if all secondary databases are older than backups or if they had not been synchronised with the primary database before it was corrupted.
•
Restore from a secondary location if it has an uncorrupted and newer database than the one in the backup. (You should restore from the latest secondary database.)
