: Writing to the Database
Writing to the Database
The Daemon writes a persisted copy of each input command to the database as soon as it is received, and each operation and output command is written as soon as all have been successfully created at both the create operations and create post operations stage.
State changes for input and output commands, and operations are written immediately after the state change. However optimisation may reduce the number of changes that are actually committed to the database.
All results from an operation are written after the operation completes, and from an output command as soon as they have been received from the location to which it was sent and which has now replied.
Messages are written only as they are received, AT THE ORIGINATING location only. Success and failures may also be visible at other locations involved in the command.
