Toolbar
Use the functionality available for selection from the toolbar to create a new project, open an existing one or save projects.
Project
New

to create a new project, the default
Project Details
window is displayed.

to open an existing project.
Save

to save a project to a desired location.
Save As

Save As
to rename and save the currently selected project.
Exit

to close the default Project Details window.
Tools
Edit Mappings Orientations
Use to edit the xml file with the orientations assigned to a symbol. Orientations are calculated on their ppoint orientations.
Edit Core Setting
Use to manually edit the xml file (CoreSettings.xml) with the default setting values.
Note:
Define how to export (to what aspect) which E3D elements are located on specified detailing levels of visibility.
Sample xml code for exporting to maintenance aspect elements located on specified levels defined in the expression:

Edit Predefined Data
Use to manually edit the xml file with the required data to report.
Report Tools
Report Gasket STypes
Generates a tool report on the gaskets used in the project in a txt file format based on PML expressions.
Report Bolt BTypes
Generates a tool report on the bolts used in the project in a txt file format based on PML expressions.
Open PMLLIB directory
Opens directory with PML macros, which are editable.
PML REHASH ALL
Executes command ‘PML REHASH ALL’/
Note:
If a new command is added to E3D, this command needs to be executed.
Clear S3D Model
Use to remove all model data from S3D.
Deploy Generic Symbol
Use for debugging purposes and eventually for loading updates for eventual in user symbols. Copy CUSTOMSYMBOL.DLL (use symbol) to the active Shared Content directory.
Note:
There is no need to use this functionality during normal use.
Copy attributes template
Add custom define functionality by copying an MS Excel file with the custom classes and interfaces defined by the user to a desired location. This Excel file needs to be loaded using the bulkhead utility.
Note:
At present only the functionality to insert reference numbers to the S3D feature properties is available.
Note:
If the Excel file is not bulkloaded into S3D catalogue, user intervention is required, the general note will be used to store information about the reference number. Refer to
Advance Settings
for further information.
