General
General
Defines and creates the general attributes of the conveyor element.
Tag Number/Description
By default, displays the auto generated tag number or if required enter a project specific name.
By default, displays the description attribute or if required enter a project specific description attribute, the description attribute is optional but it is advisable.
Charge position
Creates the charge position for the conveyor element, using the coordinates manually entered, using an offset by or picked from the 3D view. These coordinates can then be locked.
Discharge position
Creates the discharge position for the conveyor element, using the coordinates manually entered, using an offset by or picked from the 3D view. These coordinates can then be locked.
General Configuration
Displays the general configurations (shape) for the conveyor element that are currently available, click to choose a general configuration for the conveyor element. Dependent upon the selection made determines which arrangement details and pulley snub arrangements are available for selection.

Pulley Snub Arrangement
Displays the pulley snub arrangements that are currently available, click to choose a Pulley Snub Arrangement for the conveyor element:
Different combinations are dependent upon the configuration selected.
•
No Snub Pulley - the wrap angle of the pulley in the tail and the head is 180 degrees
•
Only Snub Tail Pulley - the wrap angle for the tail pulley must not be less than 180 degrees or greater than 240 degrees
•
Only Snub Head Pulley - the wrap angle for the head pulley must not be less than 180 degrees or greater than 240 degrees
•
Both Snub Pulley - the wrap angle for the tail and head pulley must not be less than 180 degrees or greater than 240 degrees.
Take up
Displays the take up at arrangements that are currently available with the option to define where to create the take up. Click to select a take up arrangement for the conveyor element and select where to create the take up:
Different combinations are dependent upon the configuration selected.

Gravity Vertical - made up of three pulleys and includes a counterweight at the bottom
•
Gravity Horizontal - made up of four pulleys and includes a lateral counterweight
•
Gravity Inclined - made up of three pulleys and includes a lateral counterweight
•
Screw - made up of a single unit at the head or tail pulley.
