The clash check can be run on request using the functionality available from Clash Sets window and subsequent Run Clash Set windows. Or alternatively, the clash set can be run as a batch job overnight using the command line interface and Windows scheduled tasks.

The results are presented on Clash Reports (if there is any doubt that the clash set has run successfully, check the Log File). Report content can be filtered using the Clash Report Filter window, refer to Run a Clash and Viewing Clash Report for further information.

The concern now is about the clashes that are not approved. The owner discipline may have been automatically assigned, or it may be unallocated because no auto-assignment rule was satisfied. An owner discipline can manually assign to the unallocated clashes using facilities at the Clash Report. Refer to Update Clash Status and/or Discipline for further information.

The Data Access Control arrangement restricts the entry or updating of comments and status applicable to clashes. The authorised users are members and supervisors of the disciplines of the clashing elements and of the owner discipline. The access control is set up as a configuration task on the AVEVA Clash Manager Configuration window - Security tab. Refer to Clash Management Options for further information.
