Projects and Databases
Supplied Projects
The Supports application is supplied as part of AVEVA E3D™. The Supports application relies upon certain project databases within the supplied APS (AVEVA Project Sample) and ACP (AVEVA Catalogue Project) projects along with any client specific project data.
Project APS:
Contains sample databases that are intended to be copied into client projects and configured to suit your own needs.
The APS project also hosts the installation version of the MDU database. MDU can be configured to enable creation of user defined ancillaries.
Project ACP:
Contains AVEVA Supports catalogue data. The data contained within ACP is not intended to be modified.
Project CPL and PSL:
If a manufacturer’s interface is used for hanger design, then the
/MDS/HANGERS database is not used, and the manufacturer’s projects can be selected instead.
