Export components as separate elements
If selected, Nozzles, Piping Components and similar database elements are exported as separate IFC entities, each with its own sets of attributes (if attributes are exported).
If not selected, these database elements are exported within IFC entities corresponding to the owning database elements (such as Equipment or Branch), with all the sets of attributes of the components attached to the owning IFC entity.
Note:
The same geometric shapes and attributes are exported in either case, but they are organised differently.
