The Receiving System
Although there is not a strict correlation, a larger file takes longer to import. Import time very much depends on the complexity of the data in the file and which parts of the model are implemented.
Generally, a facetted model requires more work from the receiving system in reconstructing the solid geometry.
The performance of one target package is significantly impaired when dealing with attribute data.
