Fonts in Export
For all exports, TrueType fonts can be used if properly installed and the naming follows the standard convention. For those fonts that don’t follow the convention, it is usually possible to find them manually in the destination software – this should only need doing the once.
For AVEVA fonts, the folder %AVEVA_DESIGN_EXE%\autodraftfonts (or a copy of it) must be added to the correct place in the destination software. Refer to
Setting a Font Path in AutoCAD
and
Setting a font path in MicroStation
for further information.
The AVEVA Symbol font is available as both a TrueType font and as an AVEVA font. Many of the symbols defined in it are now available in many TrueType fonts, although a few characters may be rendered differently. When using TrueType fonts, it may be worth looking at using the characters available in the relevant font to see if they are handled better by the destination software.

Setting a font path in MicroStation
Add the AutoDraftFonts folder in the Everything3D installation folder, typically "C:\Program Files (x86)\AVEVA\Everything3D2.10\AutoDraftFonts" as an additional path to the MS_FONTPATH environment variable. This should make all fonts defined in that folder available to MicroStation.
