Each clash check is carried out using the current option settings (obstruction list, limits box, etc.), the modified element being included automatically in an implied DESCLASH command (refer to Entering Clash Detection Mode).

The results of each clash check replace those of any previous checks, so that any reported clashes must result from the actions of the last command. Your attention will already be focused on the current element, so that it is usually most convenient to rely on graphical highlighting to show the clash (as explained in Displaying Clashes Visually), rather than to output the clash data to a file. Use the OUTPUT command to see more details of the clash if required.
