After selecting the object and clicking Move, the Command Prompt is displayed in the graphical view.
After selecting Specify base point, you are prompted to specify the
second point,
Base as displacement or
Copy.
Selecting second point moves the object to that point, either clicked in the 3D graphical view or typed as a value. Selecting
Base as displacement moves the object the amount specified as the base point. The base point is a point either clicked in the 3D graphical view or typed as a value. For example if the objects position is (1000,1000,1000) and the base point is specified at (100,200,300) this will be used as the displacement and move the object (100,200,300) making its new position (1100,1200,1300). Selecting
Copy creates a copy of the object at the new position either clicked in the 3D graphical view or typed as a value and keeps the original object at its current position.

After selecting Displacement, you are prompted to specify the
Displacement or
Copy.
Selecting Displacement moves the object relative to (0,0,0), either clicked in the 3D graphical view or typed as a value. Selecting
Copy creates a copy of the object relative to (0,0,0) at the new position either clicked in the 3D graphical view or typed as a value and keeps the original object at its current position.
