: Comment Thread
Comment Thread
A comment thread is linked to one or more elements in a DESI database and contains the following data.
Subject
Subject of the comment thread.
Date & Time
When the latest comment post in the comment thread was updated.
Creator
User that created the comment thread.
State
Open, Closed, or Obsolete. It is only possible to add comment posts to an open comment thread. Marking a comment thread as Obsolete tells an administrator that the comment thread can be deleted. Only the comment thread creator can mark a comment thread Obsolete.
Comment Posts
List of one or more comment posts in chronological order, newest first.
Attributes
User-defined attributes associated with a comment thread.
Elements
List of elements the comment thread is linked to.
User Defined Attributes (UDAs)
User-defined attributes (UDAs) associated with a comment thread will be shown together with other comment thread information. These UDAs are defined like any other UDAs but the following UDA attributes have specific meaning to comment threads.
UDA Type
Must be text.
Element Types
Must be CMTTHR (comment thread).
User-defined Name
Will be displayed in the Comments user-interface.
Valid Values
The list of valid values must be given. You cannot enter any other values in the user-interface.
Limits or Valid values Optional flag
Set to
True
if UDA should be mandatory,
False
if UDA should be optional.
List of Value Usage
Set to
SingleSelect
to allow one value only,
MultipleSelect
to allow multiple values.
