Middle Button Drag
The model displayed in a 3D View can be rotated, panned or zoomed by pressing and holding down the middle mouse button or mouse wheel over the 3D View and moving the mouse.
Zoom In/Out
Magnifies or reduces the view. The effect is to change the angle of view without moving the eye point. Using a wheel mouse, rotate the middle mouse wheel away from you to zoom in or towards you to zoom out. Using a three button mouse, hold down the middle mouse button and move the mouse up, away from you to zoom in, or down, towards you to zoom out.
Rotate
Rotates the model. Using a wheel mouse, hold down the middle mouse wheel and move the mouse in the direction you want to rotate the model. Using a three button mouse, hold down the middle mouse button and move the mouse in the direction you want to rotate the model.
Pan
Moves across the view in any direction with rotating the model or changing the magnification. Using a wheel mouse, hold down the middle mouse wheel and the Ctrl key on the keyboard and move the mouse in the direction you want to pan. Using a three button mouse, hold down the middle mouse button and the Ctrl key on the keyboard and move the mouse in the direction you want to pan.In this mode.
