Savework/Getwork
Data is only saved to the database on demand. Similarly you will only see changes made by others on demand. In order to make changes visible to other users two steps must occur:
1.
The user making the changes must do a Savework
2.
The reader must do a Getwork
For most applications, the savework/getwork actions are totally in the hands of the user.
