DRAW Administrator Guide
Notes
Notes
Creates a Sheet Note or a View Note.
All 2D drafting elements; primitives (for example, lines, circles, rectangles), Text strings (TEXP) and Symbol instances (SYMB) are owned by notes in the DRAW element hierarchy.
There are two types of notes: Sheet Notes (NOTEs) which are the parent elements for 2D drafting elements at Sheet level, and View Notes (VNOTs) which are the parent elements for 2D drafting elements at View level.
When a 2D drafting element is added to a sheet that does not own any notes, a new Sheet Note is automatically created within the existing Layer (LAYE) elements.
