Automatic Drawing Production
: General ADP
General ADP
Sets the General ADP options for the creation of drawings from specified parts of the 3D model and the addition of annotations according to defaults that have been applied.
The defaults are stored in files. There are different defaults suitable for different types of drawings. You must load a suitable file for the required drawing.
ADP functionality can add dimensions, labels, and schedules to a drawing. It can also add graphical information such as equipment centrelines and pipe end symbols.
ADP recognises different Types
of dimensions:
•
Type 1
dimensions are used for pipework.
•
Type 2 dimensions are used for equipment centres.
•
Type 3
dimensions are used for gridlines.
You can control the display of each dimension type and specify the order in which they are generated. For each type, you can set up rules using PML expressions to define how different drawing element types are dimensioned.
