Hanger Manufacturer’s Design Interface
Hangers can be created by interfacing with hanger manufacturers design software.
There are currently three supported hanger design interfaces in the Supports application:
1.
Witch Hanger interface (Carpenter & Paterson Ltd. hanger design software).
2.
LICAD interface (Lisega GMBH hanger design software)
3.
PSDesigner interface (Pipe Supports Ltd. hanger design software)
Manufacturer’s can create their own generic hanger interfaces.
The hanger interfaces works with the relevant manufacturers hanger component catalogue, which is supplied with the Supports application (CPL, Carpenter & Paterson databases and LIS, Lisega databases).
The hanger design software belongs to the hanger manufacturer and is obtainable from the vendor.
The manufacturer’s interface determines the hanger configurations that are available to the user, not the Supports application. There are no pre-defined support standard names available when using a hanger manufacturers interface.
