Create Route Elements
: Control Node
Control Node
A control node (CNODE) is a point that defines a position in space which can be used as an early aid to cableway routing. A control node element can exist below a Zone or CWAY.
Current Element
The newly created control node is identified as the currently selected element.
Control Node Name
Enter a name for the Control Node Name element or the name can be automatically generated using the
Autonaming
icon to the right of the text box.
Attributes
Use to define the attributes for the control node element.
Description
Enter a description attribute for the control node element.
Function
Enter a function attribute for the control node element.
Purpose
Enter a purpose attribute for the control node element.
Position
Use to explicitly position the control node by manually entering coordinates, using an offset or by the selection of a position in the 3D view. These coordinates can then be locked.
Explicit
Explicitly position the control node, input the coordinates:

E0 N0 U0 - (default) positions the control node at the coordinates 0,0,0 (origin).
Offset
Use to position the control node using an offset, default is 0mm.
Pick Position
To pick a position in the 3D view for the control node, select
Pick Position
, a prompt to
Pick to define position (Snap) Snap:
is displayed.
Once created, the Control Node is displayed in the 3D view.
