Diagrams : Working with Diagrams : Revision Handling : Revision Mark Shape
The Revision Mark Shape is a specific Label shape. It displays the number of a revision at which the connected shape was modified for the last time. The Revision Mark Shape can be sensitive to changes of Database Attributes of the connected shape, graphical changes of this shape, or both.
To make Revision Mark Shapes sensitive for the graphical shape changes setting Revision Marks on drawing changes in Diagrams Options > Revision handling options > Revision Marks should be set to True.
To make the Revision Mark Shape sensitive for Database attributes changes the list of influential Element Types and Attributes should be set in the Revision Marks Elements and Revision Marks Attributes setting. The list is a white-list type, it means the omitted elements will not toggle Revision Mark changes.
There is a dedicated menu button Insert Revision Marks available on the Insert tab. It allows you to insert Revision Marks on modified shapes on the current page, on all pages in the current document or only on the selected shapes. Revision Marks will be drawn only on shapes changed in the current working revision.
Note:
Prior to use the Insert Revision Marks command the proper revision shape and the stencil which the revision mark should be taken from have to be set in Diagrams Options > Revision handling options > Revision Marks > Stencil and Revision Mark Shape.
Note:
All Revision Mark Shapes are created in a separate layer named Revision Marks allowing an easy visibility toggle.
